Mountain District Learning Centre

Mountain District Learning Centre (MDLC) was established in 1974 as a Women’s Cooperative with the aim of progressing the interests of women in the local community.

It is a not-for-profit community owned and run Learning and Community Centre, governed by an elected Board of Directors; committed to the ideals of equity and access with its purpose to enhance the lives of people of all ages in the Mountain District.

MDLC offers  education programs for all ages including VCAL, VET and VCE. In addition the Centre offers English and Maths classes and skill development courses like Computer, MYOB, Bookkeeping and Desktop Publishing.

The Centre hosts a wide variety of craft and discussion groups, personal enrichment courses and Home and Community Care (HACC) Planned Activity groups.
